• What is special about a Strasburg Children dress?  Our Heirloom Classic, traditional styles featuring hand smocking, hand embroidery, French seams and other hand detailing not found in major children's brands. We use pure fabrics such as 100% Dupioni Silk or 100% Cotton. Strasburg Children has been dressing kids for decades in quality clothing.
  • How much do you charge for Shipping?  We have Free Shipping for orders more than $50.  Expedited options are also available.
  • Do you plan on making boys clothing?  Yes we do.  We currently have one outfit with multiple options and plan to reintroduce more boys items in the near future.

  • How do I donate a used special occasion dress?   The first step is to email us at info@strasburgchildrens.com with a picture of the dress and we will verify that it is a dress we can use in our Donate a Dress program.  If it is, all you have to do then is to mail it to us and we will take care of cleaning and pressing it and making sure it makes its way to another little girl who needs it.

  • What Are French Seams?  French Seams are a method of finishing the seams to hide all of the raw edges of the fabric in an elegant finished seam. The technique is frequently used in luxury designer women's clothes but we are the only large children's brand that uses French Seams for all of its clothing.
  • Does my dress need a slip?  Most of our dresses have a liner underneath the dress primarily for the comfort of your daughter or granddaughter. Although many of the dresses, particularly the 100% Cotton styles, would look and feel fine without the extra liner, we believe that this extra feature is important and enhances the durability of the dress.
  • What Are Covered Buttons?  Covered buttons means that all of our buttons are covered with the same fabric as the dress, including our 100% Dupioni Silk, so that you do not have exposed plastic or metal buttons.  We do this because we think dresses with uncovered buttons generally look unfinished.
